Megan Gordon-Hall Megan Gordon-Hall's passion for and commitment to the art of Acupuncture is deeply rooted in her keen observation of the laws of Nature, the essential tenants of this ancient tradition. Through her academic pursuits and her personal healing journey, Megan has come to understand that the creative life force that governs and flows through all living things is also the loving, transformative power which has the potential to shift body, mind and soul. Megan believes that our physical manifestations are an energetic, symbolic reflection of our thoughts and feelings, our internal environment, and our relationship with our external environments.

Megan balances her strong philosophical beliefs with well grounded foundations in Eastern and Western Medicine. She holds a Masters Degree in Acupuncture, and is national board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Megan's career as a Registered Nurse began over 20 years ago at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in the field of Psychiatry and chronic pain management. With a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Art Therapy and a Masters Degree in Art Education, Megan was able to utilize her artistic and creative abilities to forge new bridges of understanding in employing art as a healing modality with individuals with mental health issues while also practicing and supporting conventional psychotherapeutic modalities.

Megan's nursing experience in the field of Addiction Treatment and her personal concern and commitment to address this growing national crisis prompted Megan to be trained and become certified by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist. NADA promotes the use of Auricular (ear) Acupuncture as an adjunct to treating addictive and psychological disorders. Megan is currently organizing local community based addictions programs which will utilize this highly successful acupuncture treatment protocol.

Art, Medicine and the Art of Medicine have always been an integral part of Megan's life both personally and professionally. Megan's aesthetic interest and her desire to promote healing and beauty from within are manifested in her growing interest in the field of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. Whether diligently working on community based mural projects, commissions, or designing logos such as that of East- West Healing Arts. Megan is committed to employing her artistic sensibility to create harmony, health, and beauty in the lives of others.

Today Megan utilizes her keen creative and intuitive abilities and her broad knowledge of Western Medicine to assist men and women in their unique healing process through the powerful Art of Acupuncture. Through conscious awareness and the use of the creative love energy, Megan helps her patients to gain insight and actualize their potential for growth and healing on all levels.
