Margie Muth Brosi Margie Muth Brosi holds degrees in Education, Nursing, and Acupuncture and is national board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She has also been trained in the Usui System of Reiki Healing and is a Level II Reiki Practitioner. Margie studied with Mary Elizabeth Wakefield and is certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.

In her 25 years as a Registered Nurse, Margie has specialized in critical care, clinical education and chronic pain management. Since 1998 Margie has been Director of the Orthopedic Joint Replacement Unit at Montgomery General Hospital. She is currently involved in developing the hospital's Bariatric Gastric Bypass Unit; her goal is to incorporate holistic health practices into the Unit's pre- and post-operative weight management strategies. In 2005 Margie was appointed to the Manchester Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women in Healthcare.

Margie is the child of an adult polio victim. The pain and suffering she has witnessed in her personal and professional life has made her acutely aware that there are limits to Western medicine. This realization has spurred her desire to study Acupuncture as another modality to cultivate healing in the face of illness and discomfort.

Margie deals daily and expertly with the most up-to-date Western approaches to the management of acute pain. Integrating this knowledge with the more holistic practice of acupuncture has heightened Margie's understanding, awareness, and mastery of the intricate balance that is the art and science of healing.

Margie is keenly aware that the best of both worlds involves understanding, connecting, and treating patients where mind, body, and spirit intersect. Margie's gentle, thoughtful, calm manner, obvious competence, and loving kindness quickly provide patients with a sense of trust and reassurance. Her soothing attentiveness allows the needs, limits, tolerance, and strengths of each individual to emerge and to dictate the treatment offered. In Margie's presence you feel confident that she is someone that can and will help you attain a deep sense of wellbeing.
